Rubén Palomino was crowned champion of the Recortadores Competition with bulls held in Cuenca in 2006. The competition was marked by the quality of the performances and the stands were completely packed.

For the occasion, bulls from the El Quintanar ranch were fought, offering excellent performances, and the specialists were up to the task of providing a high-flying night.
