The 2005 Spanish Championship brought together the 60 most outstanding bullfighters of the moment, spread over a total of three afternoons in Las Ventas throughout the month of July.
The second semifinal was held against bulls from Hermanos López Aragón, and the following bullfighters advanced to the grand final: Ramón Bellver "El Blanco" from Massamagrel, Asier Gonzalez from Tafalla, Marco Teijón from Parla, Cristian Pérez from Vall d'Uixo, César García de Yunquera from Henares, and Enrique de Frutos from Mojados.
