On August 16, 2005, as tradition dictates, Brihuega dressed up for its big day. Four bulls would enter the field in one of the oldest running of the bulls in Spain and remain loose all night until their return to the village in the early hours.
In this edition, all four bulls were successfully corralled, a feat that is very difficult due to the complexity of the running of the bulls.
This week marks the 20th anniversary of the running of the bulls, which Toros en España Play is bringing to the world today through its newspaper archives.
