After qualifying and semi-final rounds, the 1st Don Quixote Trophy held its grand finale at the Ocaña Bullring (Toledo), featuring a bullfight with bulls from Los Chospes of unquestionable quality.
Cuenca bullfighter Rubén Palomino was the winner, followed by Julián Gómez Carpio, Marco Teijón, César García, and Alberto Gutierrez "Pepillo".
During the competition, French specialist David Casarín suffered an accident that froze the stands, and it was he who, on his own two feet, returned to the ring at the end of the event to a standing ovation from the public.
