Perales de Tajuña holds its traditional bullfighter competition every year in August. In 2006, its main square hosted an extraordinary competition featuring the best specialists in each discipline who faced a serious bullfight by the Vicente Ortiz Urbina brothers.
The best bullfight went to Jesús Benito "El Chispa," Rubén Lozano won the best jump, and Pedro Imaz won the best turn.
