The 2006 Spanish Championship was held entirely in Madrid, at the Las Ventas Bullring. This second round was held on July 7th, and the 25 specialists faced bulls from Fernández Palacios.
The competition was won by Jesús Sanz 'El Parri' from La Parrilla (Valladolid), qualifying for the grand final alongside Javier Santander, José Méndez 'El Moro', Asier González, Alejandro García, Jesús Benito 'El Chispa', and Enrique de Frutos.
