At the height of the bullfighting boom, Las Ventas opted for a unique format in which fifteen bullfighters competed in five triplets, each represented by specialists from a different autonomous community.
The winning community was Navarre and Aragon, represented by Navarrese Asier González and Javier Sota, along with Javier Romero "El Tavi" from Teruel.
